While a lot of my friends across the country are enduring below freezing temperatures, I am soaking in the heat & sun of a California winter. ^^ We found this awesome, old, broken down car. I wonder how old it is.
I lived in my hiking clothes this weekend, as we walked all over the hills of Diamond Bar. I wore pants but almost wished I didn’t because of the heat. My hiking boots are my best friends, guys. If you haven’t purchased a good pair (they’re pricey, but I got mine on sale) then you should ask Santa for some. I have these, but would really love these for cold weather hikes.
So many soft, rolling hills! You could see LA in the distance (not in the picture above, that’s facing the other direction), it was that clear and that beautiful.^^ I can never get him to look at the camera… hugs, hanalei
I just came back from another trip to So Cal. I grew up near a little ol’ town called Pasadena (anyone know the song?), where the palm trees seem to touch the sky. This trip, I dragged one of my bff’s, Carolina, into showing off her style for a sunny day in paradise, aka home. Here’s what she came up with.
PS I did a big photographer’s No-No and shot in the sun at noon day. We were drenched in sunshine and heat. But that’s So Cal for ya.
Some fun facts about her before we go: Her first languages (in order) were Chinese, Spanish (she was born in Colombia) and then English. She is one of those friends that gives from her heart, and leaves you off a better person. Thanks for being my model and showing off your style, girl!
