We found some amazing hills to bike around at Chino Hills State Park, you should try it out some time! It wasn’t too hard of a course, and I didn’t get too scared going down those hills. We rode for over two hours and were absolutely exhausted at the end of it. But, it was all worth it for that sunset! Thanks to a few answered prayers, we made it back to the car just before the last glimpse of light disappeared beyond the hills. Hope you’re enjoying a fun filled Christmas vacay too! I make it look so easy… HA well this was just the beginning!^^ We may have gotten a little lost… good thing GPS still works out here!
I am in Utah again, for my brother’s wedding. The sunsets here take my breath away. And just in case you thought I filtered these at all…they are untouched. It was that gorgeous.

We’ve been on the road for the past few days, and now we’re staying at my husband’s family’s cabin in Utah, aka the wild wild west.
This ^^ was my babe’s #OOTD. He is so cute when he gets into his wilderness gear!We are hiking, sliding, and sweating our way to the 4th of July. My sister in-law & family are staying at the cabin too. She is adventurous and smart and has adorable 1/4 Asian kiddos. I love them.
Independence Day is one of my favorite American holidays. No matter where in the world I am on that day, I recognize the freedoms my country (no matter how imperfect) affords me. I can’t wait for the fireworks!
Running is the best way to see the details of wherever you are. Here in San Francisco, details are in abundance and it’s easy to miss the many treasures that are hidden in this bustling city. The park is just 2 blocks away from my flat, so there will be many future posts about all the treasures hidden there.
Enter the Japanese gardens, where nature and architecture take you into another culture and century.
For me, running has been a great way to see the sights & get a work out for both my mind and body; I really believe that the mind+body+spirit is connected and that exercising does more than just physical fitness.
So you can say that running is a way to knock out two birdies with out stone: getting a great work out and sight seeing your city. Do you have any beautiful places near you, that you love to run at? Do share.
I just came back from another trip to So Cal. I grew up near a little ol’ town called Pasadena (anyone know the song?), where the palm trees seem to touch the sky. This trip, I dragged one of my bff’s, Carolina, into showing off her style for a sunny day in paradise, aka home. Here’s what she came up with.
Some fun facts about her before we go: Her first languages (in order) were Chinese, Spanish (she was born in Colombia) and then English. She is one of those friends that gives from her heart, and leaves you off a better person. Thanks for being my model and showing off your style, girl!
